 MdBio Foundation STEM Competitions

Take home the prize

STEM competitions for students in grades 5 - 12

The MdBio Foundation team has been hard at work developing innovative projects that make science fun and engage the innovators of tomorrow.  This spring, MdBio Foundation is promoting two unique student competitions that bring STEM to students at a personal level and involve cash prizes and travel awards.

The STEM Voice™ Video Competition is a nationwide opportunity for students in grades 5 through 12 to artistically explore the significance of STEM. The competition is all about creativity: middle and high school students compete by developing 60-second videos about the importance of STEM or their STEM hero.

MdBio Foundation is also accepting applications for the popular Maryland BioGENEius Challenge, a rigorous international competition for high school students with original research in biotechnology.
