Katelyn is an International Baccalaureate (IB) student at Crossland High School. Her course load includes IB Spanish B, IB World Literature, IB Theory of Knowledge. IB Art/Design 2, IB History 2, IB Math 2/Calculus, and IB Research and Design.

Katelyn has more than 120 student service learning hours. She is the Vice President of the Student Government Association, a peer mediator and a member of the basketball team. She also coaches a youth basketball team.

She plans to attend the University of Maryland College Park, play basketball and major in kinesiology. She hopes to become a physical therapist.
