    Academics: Advanced Placement courses in Government, World History, Biology, Calculus A/B, Literature, and Language

    Jorelle has also taken advantage of the dual enrollment course offered to students at OHHS through Prince George’s Community College in Environmental and Forensic Science.

    Extra-Curricular Activities: Orchestra (President), Filipino American Youth Association (President), National Honor Society (Parliamentarian), Tennis, Varsity Soccer Team, Globe Club, Knitting Club (Project Linus) 

    Future Plans: Jorelle was accepted into the University of Maryland, College Park. She has applied to the University of California Berkley, Duke University, Vanderbilt University and her first choice, Stanford University. She plans to study Environmental Science and attend medical school to accomplish her dream of becoming a doctor. 

    Interesting Facts: Jorelle loves helping others, which is one of the reasons why she wants to become a doctor. She is the poster child for the Prince George’s County Xtreme Teen’s Program that promotes safe summer activities throughout the county. She has also donated her hair to cancer survivor patients through the Locks of Love Foundation.
