    Adwoa Andoh
    Friendly High School
    GPA: 3.93 

    Adowa’s courseload includes Advanced Placement (AP) English Language, English Literature, Studio Art, and Psychology. She has also taken Honors Algebra, World History and English 10.

    Adwoa is a member of the National Honor, English and Art Societies and lacrosse team.

    Adwoa plans to attend the University of Maryland College Park and double major in English and psychology. She aspires to become a lawyer. She also enjoys painting, drawing and writing poetry.


    Abdul Kaba 
    Largo High School
    GPA: 4.03 


    An aspiring business owner, Abdul’s courseload includes Advanced Placement (AP) English Language, World History, Calculus, English Literature and U.S. History. He has also taken Honors English 9 and 10.

    Abdul, a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, has approximately 100 student service learning hours. He is a member of the National English Honor Society, soccer team, green club and electric vehicle team.

    Abdul has been accepted to the University of Maryland, Morehouse College, North Carolina A&T, Temple, Hampton, Morgan State, Bowie State and, Mississippi Valley State universities. He plans to double major in computer engineering and business with dreams of owning an engineering firm.
