    Bema Catriz Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School GPA: 4.21

    Bema, an aspiring nurse practitioner, plans to attend Bowie State University in the fall. Her course load includes Advanced Placement English Literature, English Language, Statistics and Government.

    A member of the National Honor Society, Bema has more than 200 student service learning hours. Bema was on a winning team at the International Robo Rave Competition in Espanola, N.M. She loves to sing, write music and plays the guitar, drums and ukulele. She also dreams of opening a restaurant.


    Allana Armour

    GPA: 3.76


    An aspiring veterinarian, Allana’s course load includes Advanced Placement Government, World History, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Spanish 4.


    Allana is National Honor Society president, Student Government Association vice president, yearbook editor, National Art Society member and Latinas Leading Tomorrow class representative. She is also a member of the Upward Bound Math and Science Program and volunteers at Paw Prints Animal Clinic.


    Allana will attend Wilson College, majoring in veterinary medical technology and creative writing with a minor in art.
