Jonathan Fuentes

Jonathan is a student in the Information Technology (IT) and Biotechnology Academies and had maintained a 4.0 or better throughout high school. His course load includes Advance Placement American Government, Computer Science, Calculus, and Statistics.

Jonathan is a member of the National Honor Society, and Youth Career Connect. He is also a member of the tennis team.

Jonathan has been accepted to Morgan State University and Capitol Technology University. He wishes to major in computer science or engineering.

He has received several certifications as a student in the IT Academy including HTML5/CSS3, Java Script and MTA Security.

K’ren Jenkins

K’ren has been on the principal’s honor roll since ninth-grade. Her course load includes Advance Placement Literature and World History, Probability & Statistics, French 2, Physical Training, Capstone Law and Intro to Photography.

K’ren is a member of the National Honor Society and president of her senior class. She is an active volunteer with more than 75 community service learning hours.

She has been accepted into Alabama State University and offered a full scholarship. She plans to major in sports medicine/fitness management and minor in business.

Outside of school, K’ren loves to play sports and dance. She is a member of the liturgical dance group and her church and sings in the choir. She also speaks beginners French and Spanish.
