    Kory Gaines
    Career Interest: Engineering

    GPA: 4.07

    Kory’s career choice is engineering. He wishes to use his skills to innovate the automotive industry.

    His course load includes Advanced Placement U.S. History, Government and Politics, English Language and Composition, World History, Calculus AB, English Literature, and Human Geography. He has also taken Honors Chemistry and Physics.

    Kory is a member of the National and Math Honor Societies and a participant in the College Prep Program at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. He is also on the track and field, cross-country and football teams.

    Kory has pending applications at Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Maryland and others. He plans to major in mechanical engineering.

    A student in the Science and Technology Program, Alpha’s course load includes Advanced Placement Psychology, U.S. History, Government and Politics, English Language & Composition, World History, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Physics C. He has also taken Honors Chemistry and Physics.

    Alpha is a member of the National and Math Honor Societies, African Student Association, and Principal’s Action Council. He is also a member of the tennis team and humanitarian club.

    Alpha has pending applications at the University of Maryland, Georgia Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Cornell University, Carnegie Mellon University and the University of California, Berkeley.

    He is an aspiring chemical engineer and entrepreneur with plans to double major in engineering and small business operations. He hopes to develop a clothing company specializing in unique synthetic fibers.
