    Crossland High School
    Kobe Wright

    GPA: 3.69

    Kobe Wright is enrolled in the dual enrollment program at Prince George’s Community College where he has already passed two years of college English courses. His course load also includes AP Literature, Italian 3 and Pre-Calculus.

    A National Honor Society member, Kobe has earned more than 50 service learning hours, participates on the cross-country and track & field teams and plays for a recreational basketball team.

    Kobe has already been accepted to Bowie State University and applied to Delaware State University. He plans to major in computer science and hopes to become a professional athlete.

    Isaiah Nance

    Career Interest: Environmental Science

    GPA: 3.4

    By the year 2050, Isaiah Nance hopes to have solved the food crisis through aquaponics, a sustainable farming system.

    A member of Future Farmers of America, Isaiah participated in the Global Youth Institute hosted by the World Food Prize Foundation where he interacted with Nobel and World Food Prize laureates and discussed pressing food security and agricultural issues. Isaiah has also presented at the White House on “Raising the Profile of Agriculture.”

    Isaiah has applied to Salisbury University, Coastal Carolina University, University of Hawaii at Hilo and University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
