    Bowie High School

    Jaden Burnett

    GPA: 4.04

    Jaden is taking AP courses in English Language and Composition, Literature and Environmental Science. She has also taken honors courses in chemistry, biology, English, history and government.

    An active volunteer with more than 90 service learning hours, Jaden is a Girl Scout Ambassador and College Summit Peer Leader. She’s also on the Royal Dynasty Dance Team, Madrigals Choir and Chamber Choir. She’s performed in 15 musicals! Jaden is a member of the National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and National Society of High School Scholars.

    Jaden college interests include Miami University, North Carolina A&T, Ohio University, Penn State University, University of Delaware and University of Maryland, College Park. She plans to major in plant science or horticulture and become a botanist or environmental engineer.

    Johnathan Henriquez

    Career Interest:  Masonry

    GPA: 3.2

    Johnathan hopes to own a masonry company. He is an active participant in the Student Built House Program and has demonstrated his skills at the 2015 and 2016 PGCPS Academic Fairs.

    He chose masonry because it allows him to help others and build homes for families. He plans to enter competitions later this school year.

    Outside of perfecting his skills, Johnathan has participated on his school’s modeling team and soccer team. He assisted with beautification projects at Crossland High School, helping to paint bleachers. He also loves to fix electronics.
