Academics –Obichi is an International Baccalaureate Program candidate taking several IB courses. She has also taken AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Psychology, and AP Calculus.

Extracurricular Activities – National Honor Society (President), Soccer, Cross-Country, Indoor Track, Outdoor Track, Book Club, Student Government Association, Class of 2015 Historian

Future Plans – Obichi has been accepted to many colleges and universities including Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, Howard University, Washington University, and University of Maryland Baltimore County. She plans to major in neurobiology or neuroscience.

Interesting Notes – She has been on honor roll throughout her academic career and principals honor roll throughout high school. She is the recipient of the 2015 National Achievement Scholarship Award. She regularly serves as a volunteer for Doctor’s Community Hospital Summer Youth Program and Grace Life Center Food Pantry. She is also a member of her church choir and youth group.
