Academics – Rami is a student in the Science and Technology Program where he is studying Pre-Engineering Technologies. He has completed coursework in AP English and Language Composition, AP Physics B, AP Physics C, AP Calculus AB, Engineering Drafting, Architectural and Engineering Graphics, Structural Energy, Energy and Electrical Production Systems, Internship S/T and Research Practicum.

Extracurricular Activities – Concert Band, Math Honor Society, Symphonic Band, FRC Robotics, Students of Applied Robotics, Varsity Baseball, Science and Technology Academic Reformers, Ernest Just Foundation, UMD Discovering Engineering Program, and UMD Pre-College Scholars Program.


Future Plans – Rami has been accepted to the United States Military Academy at West Point pending a congressional recommendation. He plans to apply to the University of Maryland College Park, Grinnell College, University of Michigan, Haverford College, Lehigh University, Purdue University, and Harvey Mudd College, as well as others. He aspires to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering and minor in Music and East Asian Studies (Japanese).


Interesting Notes – Rami was born in Saudi Arabia and has traveled throughout the Middle East. In the future, he plans to reside in Japan and work as an Aerospace Engineer. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano, guitar, trumpet, French horn, and video games.
