Lyric is the vice president of the POETS Club and volunteers at All Nations
Baptist Church and Blandensburg Town Hall. She also helps with CSTEM at her
school.
Future Plans – Lyric has applied to Arcadia University and Smith
College. She plans to apply to Cornell University, Goucher College, and Indiana
University of PA. Her career goal is to become a zoo veterinarian and a
wildlife conservationist.
Interesting Notes – Lyric earned a 5 on the AP
Language exam. She is an AP Scholar Award Winner and has been on honor roll
throughout high school. She has received the Harvard Book Award and was
inducted into the National Junior Honor Society in the eighth grade. Her
literature has been published in a literacy magazine as well as her school
newspaper.
