    Academics –International Baccalaureate candidate, AP US History, AP Government and AP Music Theory 
     

    Extracurricular Activities – Laurel High School Marching Band Drum Major, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, IB Model United Nations, National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, PGCPS High School Honors Band, National Council of Negro Women and Female Achievers Maintaining Excellence

    Future Plans – Asha has been accepted to the University of Alabama and Washington College. She has also applied to Florida State University, Towson University and Barry University. Asha plans to major in Music and become a score composer for movies and/or a professional musician for a symphony or theatrical instrumental ensemble.

    Interesting Notes – Asha has been playing the piano since she was eight years old. She also plays the clarinet and tuba. She traveled to France, Italy and Greece as a student ambassador with People to People. She has received a 4 on the AP Government Exam and a 6 on the IB Math Studies SL exam.
