    Academics: AP Calculus BC, Calculus III/Differential Equations (Catholic University), Number Theory (University of Maryland), AP Physics B, AP Physics C, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP US Government & Politics, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science and Research Practicum

    Extracurricular Activities: Bassoonist, Pianist, National Honor Society, STEM Committee (President), Computer Club (President), Founder of Vex Robotics Team, Robotics Club, Cyber Security Team

     

    Future Plans: Alexander has applied to MIT, Caltech and University of Maryland College Park. He wants to become a computer scientist and electrical engineer to learn product and system research, design and implementation.

    Interesting Notes: Alexander is enrolled in the Science and Technology Program at Roosevelt. He has had internships with Bastelle CyberAuto Challenge and University of Maryland College Park’s Programming Languages lab. Alexander has received the following awards during his academic career: Jesse J. Warr Memorial Award, AP Scholar of Distinction – College Board, Rensselaer Medal Award for Outstanding Academics and ranked 42th nationally in the Cyber Foundation competition.
