Academics: Damani is enrolled in the Science and Technology Program (Biology Track). He is enrolled in the following courses: AP Psychology, AP Calculus BC and AP Environmental Science. Damani is an intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. 
 

Extracurricular Activities:  Damani is a member of the Varsity Tennis Team (captain), Chess Club (president), Spanish Honor Society (secretary) and National Honor Society (historian). 
 

Future Plans:  Damani plans to be an Environmental Scientist and conduct field research on climate changes. 
 

Interesting Notes: Damani is the first student selected from Prince George's County Public Schools as a Bezos Scholar. He is also the 2013 Program Coordinator of the Elementary STEM Education Fair. Additionally, he volunteers as a coach for the Prince George’s Tennis and Education Foundation and is a 2013 POSSE finalist.
