• Media Advisory: Board of Education Swearing-In Ceremonies to be Held

    Prince George’s County Board of Education swearing-in ceremonies will be held Wednesday for Dr. Donna L. Wiseman and new student member Amanya Paige.

    Dr. Wiseman will be sworn in that morning by County Executive Rushern L. Baker III. She will fill the at-large vacancy created by Dr. Beverly Anderson’s resignation. Dr. Segun C. Eubanks will be reappointed to the Board of Education as Chair.

    Paige, a rising junior at Parkdale High School and National Honor Society member, has received awards for leadership and academics. She will be sworn in that evening to a one-year term on the Board, ending June 2018.
