Ross Management Services in partnership with Prince George's County Board of Education Member Amber Waller, Prince George's County Public Schools, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, PEPCO, Prince George's County Police and Fire Departments, as well as local radio stations sponsored a fundraiser for Chillum Elementary School at Cypress Creek Apartments.

The Cypress Creek Apartments First Annual Community Day on May 17 raised $3,800 to benefit the school.  The community came out to support the event and a partnership was established with a local church to further assist the school.

"Today further enhanced my belief that when businesses and the community come together, a difference can be made in the lives of our students and families," said Board of Education District 3 Member Amber Waller.
