    MANDATORY UNIFORM POLICY (GRADES 6-8) 

     

    BOYS

    • Short or long sleeved polo shirt in the appropriate color. Shirts must fit appropriately. Shirts must be tucked in at all times so the belt can be seen.  

      •     6th Grade – Solid Gold

      •     7th Grade – Solid Gray

      •     8th Grade – Solid Royal Blue

    • Navy blue uniform pants or uniform shorts. Pants/shorts must have belt loops. Garments must fit securely at the waist.  The cuffs of pants should touch the tops of the shoes.   

    • Solid navy blue uniform sweater or sweatshirt (optional).  Hoodies may not be worn. All sweaters/sweatshirts must be worn over the uniform shirt.  

    • Black, white, or navy blue socks must be worn (ankle length or above).  

    • Plain black or brown belt.  A belt must be worn at all times.  The belt must go through the belt loops and be buckled at the waist.  Buckles should be gold or silver.  

    • Flat soled, fully enclosed shoes.  Shoes must be worn at all times.  

    • Head wraps, scarves, and hats are not allowed.  

    • Only one necklace may be worn.  Must be worn inside the shirt.  

    • Earrings must be dime sized or smaller (studs).   

    • One watch may be worn.  Alarms and other sounds must be silenced during school hours.  Only one bracelet may be worn.  

    • No fad dressing or jewelry.  

     


    GIRLS

    • Short or long sleeved polo shirt in the appropriate color. Shirts must fit appropriately. Shirts must be tucked in at all times so the belt can be seen.  

      •     6th Grade – Solid Gold

      •     7th Grade – Solid Gray

      •     8th Grade – Solid Royal Blue

    • Navy blue uniform pants, shorts, or skirts. Pants/shorts must have belt loops. Garments must fit securely at the waist.  The cuffs of pants should touch the tops of the shoes.  Shorts and skirts must be at appropriate length (no shorter than fingertip level).  

    • Solid navy blue uniform sweater or sweatshirt (optional).  Hoodies may not be worn.  All sweaters/sweatshirts must be worn over the uniform shirt.  

    • Black, white, or navy blue socks, tights, stockings or flesh-colored stockings must be worn.  Socks must be ankle length or above.  

    • Plain black or brown belt.  A belt must be worn at all times if the garment has belt loops.  The belt must go through the belt loops and be buckled at the waist.  Buckles should be gold or silver.

    • Flat soled, fully enclosed shoes.  Shoes must be worn at all times.  

    • Head wraps, scarves, and hats are not allowed. Ribbons, barrettes, strings, headbands, scrunches/ponytail holders are acceptable.  

    • Only one necklace may be worn.  Must be worn inside the shirt.  

    • Earrings must be quarter sized or smaller (studs or hoops).   

    • One watch may be worn.  Alarms and other sounds must be silenced during school hours.  Only one bracelet may be worn. No bangles.  

    • No fad dressing or jewelry.  

      

      

    Additional Information

    • There is no uniform policy for students in grades Pre-K through 5.  

    • All jackets, coats, book bags, and other non-uniform items must be kept in a locker during the school day.  

    • Exceptions to the uniform policy for religious practices will be considered.  


        

    Consequences for Uniform Non-Compliance

    • A parent/guardian will be contacted to bring the appropriate item(s) to school if the student is in violation of the uniform policy.  

    • Continued violations of the uniform policy will result in disciplinary actions.
