    Maryland State Department of Education will present Whitehall Elementary School with the Maryland Excellence in Gifted and Talented Education (EGATE) Award and celebrate the schools achievements. Whitehall is one of only 10 schools statewide selected for this honor. The EGATE Award recognizes public school programs that offer superior and equitable gifted and talented education.
