UPPER MARLBORO, MD – The Prince George’s County Board of Education will host a community meeting Dec. 14 on a permanent site for the International High School at Langley Park.

Since opening in Fall 2015, the school has been temporarily co-located with Annapolis Road Academy in Bladensburg. The Facility Advisory Committee has proposed moving the school to the Langley Park-McCormick Elementary School campus in Hyattsville. Department of Capital Programs staff will share details about the proposal during the community meeting. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for families and community members to give input.

The community meeting will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Northwestern High School Media Center, 7000 Adelphi Road, in Hyattsville.

Interpreting services will be available. A question and answer period will be held after the presentation. Ideas and comments can also be submitted to capital.programs@pgcps.org.

A final vote on the site recommendations is expected at the Jan. 19 Board of Education meeting. For more information, please visit http://www1.pgcps.org/cip/. Click here to download the flyer (en español).
